This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience, work with experienced tradespeople, and build a long-term career in a specialised mechanical trade.What You’ll Be DoingAs an apprentice, your responsibilities will include:Disassembling electric motors and generatorsPerforming mechanical inspectionsCleaning and preparing partsReassembling motors and generatorsPainting components and finished assembliesPreparing completed products for despatchMachining components using lathes, drills, and milling machinesAssisting with dynamic balancing of rotating componentsGeneral workshop and yard housekeeping dutiesWho We’re Looking ForYou will be a great fit if you are:Mechanically minded and eager to develop your technical skillsRespectful, team oriented, and easy to get along withWilling to learn from experienced staff and take directionPhysically capable and comfortable getting hands on (and a bit dirty!)We value attitude and willingness to learn just as much as prior experience.Essential & Desirable RequirementsEssential:Current driver’s licenceReliable transportDesirable (but not essential):LF Forklift LicenceDG Dogging LicencePre-apprenticeship in fitting/machiningHR LicenceTraining support may be available for the right candidate.
